Paramount airways is an airline based in Chennai, India that is owned by the Madurai based textile company Paramount Group. It is an all business class airline and targets only business travelers. It promises to deliver unparallel comfort services and comfort and a good value for money. The headquarters of the carrier are in Coimbatore. The carrier is founded by M.Thiagarajan, a former pilot.
The international flights of the carrier do not have economy class. It has a very strong presence in south India and is gradually establishing its feet in north India with flights to various north Indian cities. It is the first to allow its travelers to receive ISD calls in flight. Come 2010, paramount will venture into flights to Europe, USA and the Middle East.
